Project's goals
OUR CLIENT IS A LEANDING ACTOR IN THE COSMETICS INDUSTRIE
Our customer wanted us to provide him with secure automated equipment in order to handl and cut a 8 molding plastic parts with a 28-second cycle time.
A robot was already installed on the molding machine for the movement of the parts.
We also needed to provide a pneumatic gripper to take the 8 plastic parts without damaging the parts' appearances.
Then, the parts were transported to an equipment of our design to be cut in a specific way. Finally, the pieces were dropped of on a conveyor provided by the customer.
All equipment were connected to the control system of the robot and integrated into a secure work station.
DAO services for this project
After specifications’ drafting , DAO-BE team designed all mechanical equipment, defined the automated system, manage the equipment manufacturing and assembly with our suppliers.
AO-BE was also managing installation of the equipment and wotk station. We took part in on-site tests in partnership with the handling robot supplier, to ensure the compliance with operation nad quality standards requested by the customer.
